and by not only focusing on taking leadership positions so as to ensure they are in all fields
of work.

Newly Launched Programs.
Apprenticeship Program Dubbed Unshod College.
A program that has already been piloted, and we are working towards creating job opportunities to our young men.
Our organization has partnered with contractors, welders, plumbers, masons, carpenters, electricians
,mechanics,painters,hotels/fast-foods/restaurants and other technical companies to offer
apprenticeship to school drop-outs who didn’t get an opportunity to join the institutions of
higher learning. The apprenticeship program is running for at least 3 months and all those who
are enrolled receive a daily wage of Ksh400 from our partners and after graduating from the
program they are assured of jobs where they get absorbed by our partner contractors, welders
and mechanics and many more to work with them and get a daily pay of Ksh 800.This is going to
help our organization improve the standards of living of these school dropouts who go through
our programs and that of their immediate families. Moreover, offering such skills will also help
us empower more school dropouts who have phobia of the mainstream education system hence
contributing toward reduced illiteracy levels in the society. We are therefore looking for more
partner companies as well as going round the villages looking for those who dropped-out of
schools and those who didn’t get an opportunity to pursue their education beyond Primary or
Secondary schools and give them the much-needed technical skills to support and improve their
livelihoods. The program is solely funded by the organization’s Board of Directors contributions
as well as contributions by our partner companies in the technical fields. _Give a hand in this
and you’ll have transformed a life through our Unshod College(Apprenticeship) Program.
